Team Avishkar Hyperloop - Aerodynamics Subsystem Head - August 2021 - October 2022
Led, managed and developed analysis plans for all CFD studies of reduced-pressure full-scale hyperloop system and competition POD.
Used Autodesk Fusion360 for design and Ansys Fluent to carry out the CFD study.
Built an Experimental Facility at the National Centre for Combustion Research & Development, IITM, to conduct the experimental study of the hyperloop POD in the compressible region of 0.4 Mach.
Implemented Ansys Mechanical Static Structural Analysis to design a lightweight composite shell with optimal fibre orientation and variable thickness based on maximum deflection due to various loading conditions.
Geliose Mobility Pvt Ltd - Assistant Design Engineer (Intern) - June 2022 - August 2022
Implemented ANSYS MSMD Battery Module to simulate the thermal behaviour of Li-ion cells in natural convection.
While Focusing on the swappable battery technology, designed an LFP 60V 30Ah Battery Pack in SolidWorks that can take the least volume in foot space of the e-Scooter.
To understand the various terminologies and standardisation in the EV sector, a market study is performed to compare the e-scooters based on battery capacity, range, speed etc., from major Taiwanese, European and Chineseindustries.

Projects
Tear-Drop Dimple Effects on Elliptical Tube Internal Cooling: Numerical Analysis - MS (Research) Thesis
Numerical Analysis of the Effect of Turbulence on Heat Transfer in an elliptical pipe flow.
Implemented Tear Drop Dimples on the surface to increment the heat transfer rate.
Used Ansys Fluent to solve the Steady and Unsteady k-Omega SST Turbulence Model to predict the fluid flow and temperature over the turbulent generators.
Studies were carried out at various geometric parameters with Reynolds number ranging from 5,000 to 30,000.
A 75% increment in Nusselt number and a maximum PEC of 1.1 is achieved.
Solar Based Smart Energy Systems - Traffic Density Control - BE Project
Build a solar-powered, priority-wise traffic control system to handle road traffic efficiently.
The system uses an AT89S52 microcontroller-based development board and IR sensors for vehicle detection.
Responsible for developing an efficient algorithm for the system and implementing it using C++ Code on the AT89S52 microcontroller.
A fully autonomous miniature-sized working model was fabricated.
